Qualifications

• Experience debugging Java/JEE/REST/Websockets and data access technologies.
• Experience leading operations teams for large-scale, 24x7 applications.
• Strong production support practices for web and iOS apps; passion for automation.
• Experience interpreting data from OpenTelemetry, Splunk, and other monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automation for monitoring large-scale distributed systems.
• Develop tools to automate repetitive operational tasks and improve reliability.
• Lead system health monitoring, incident response, and global communication during outages.
• Track operational metrics and drive process improvements with cross-functional teams.
• Guide a globally distributed team toward operations excellence and automation of daily tasks.
• Document architecture, infra configuration, and procedures; train users and staff.
