Job summary

VERSANT Media seeks a Technology Procurement Manager to join the Global Enterprise Procurement team. You will shape category strategies across software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and professional services, lead sourcing events, negotiate contracts, and drive cost savings and risk management.

Reporting to the Vice President, Global Technology Strategic Procurement, you will collaborate with Legal, Finance, Information Security, Privacy, and Compliance to deliver measurable business value

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, or related field.
• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, or vendor management with technology categories.
• Experience leading sourcing for software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, hardware, and tech services.
• Strong financial and analytical skills to evaluate total cost of ownership and supplier proposals.

Responsibilities

• Serve as strategic advisor to business and technology leaders on technology investments and supplier decisions.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing across software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, hardware, and professional services.
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, InfoSec, Privacy, Compliance, and Technology to resolve issues and drive timely decisions.
• Develop and execute competitive sourcing events: RFIs, RFPs, RFQs, and supplier evaluations.
• Negotiate complex contracts including pricing, SLAs, renewals, and risk provisions.
• Create total-cost-of-ownership analyses and business cases to support decisions.
• Perform supplier due diligence and coordinate cross-functional risk assessments.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage technology agreements (MSAs, statements of work, etc.).
• Identify cost savings and operational efficiencies while balancing risk and value.
• Maintain sourcing and contract documentation and report to leadership.
