Job summary

Versant Media, LLC in New York seeks a Technology Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing across software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, and hardware. This role partners with Legal, Finance, Information Security and Compliance to shape supplier governance and drive cost optimization.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in strategic sourcing for technology, strong negotiation skills, and ability to deliver measurable value in a transforming procurement function.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing or vendor management with technology categories.
• Experience leading sourcing initiatives and negotiations for software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, hardware, or tech services.
• Strong analytical and financial skills to evaluate total cost of ownership and business cases.
• Proven ability to manage complex commercial negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Responsibilities

• Shape technology investment decisions and supplier governance aligned with enterprise priorities.
• Lead end-to-end strategic sourcing across software/SaaS, cloud, data, cybersecurity, hardware, and services.
• Draft, negotiate, and manage technology agreements including MSAs and SOWs.
• Identify cost savings, cost avoidance, and commercial improvements.
• Coordinate risk, privacy, legal, and compliance assessments pre-contract.
• Maintain accurate sourcing/documentation and report to leadership.
