Job summary

Verint Systems Inc. is seeking a Procurement Specialist to source, negotiate, and manage contracts for SW, SaaS, Cloud, and hosting IT sub-categories.

The role involves cross-functional collaboration to determine procurement approaches, requirements, and supplier selection while ensuring policy compliance. Reporting to the Director of Procurement within the Global Procurement team, you will drive negotiations, savings, and governance across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years procurement experience, with at least 3 years focused on software, SaaS, cloud or technology sourcing.
• Demonstrated experience independently leading supplier negotiations and renewals.
• Experience reviewing and interpreting software and SaaS agreements with Legal and stakeholders.
• Proven ability to manage multiple software/SaaS projects with governance and savings tracking.

Responsibilities

• Lead contractual and commercial negotiations with SW, SaaS, Cloud, Hosting and technology vendors.
• Ensure procurement involvement in major vendor engagements including renewals and supplier selection.
• Deliver savings and value through renegotiations, consolidations and terminations with benchmarking and cost modelling.
• Develop and execute category plans for software and SaaS spend; identify opportunities and risks.
• Coordinate with IT, Finance, Legal, Security, Services and Operations to ensure robust procurement activity.
