Job summary

PPG Industries is seeking a Global Technical Support Manager to lead delivery of high-quality technical support within PMC Protective. The role anchors cross-regional collaboration, supports complex projects, and aligns with EPC/specifications while driving customer relationships and business growth.

Location is flexible with a preference for Pittsburgh, Amsterdam, Mexico City, Wroclaw, or Kunshan; remote options are supported.

Qualifications

Degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or related field.
Strong experience in Protective & Marine coatings or comparable industries.
Strong business acumen and ability to translate technical details into commercial value.
Proven background in technical support, project engineering, or specification management.
Experience with complex global projects (e.g., Marine, EPC-driven environments) preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and coordinate cross-regional technical support efforts across geographies.
Provide timely and accurate technical support to global customers, KAM teams, and internal stakeholders.
Support complex projects and applications, including FPSO/FLNG, infrastructure, and industrial segments.
Review and contribute to owner and EPC specifications, aligning test data with performance.
Prepare technical statements, reports, and guarantee support documentation.
Deliver technical presentations and workshops to customers, Owners, and EPCs.
Act as a key interface between Product Management, Engineering, R&D, and regional teams.
Provide technical support to Global Product Managers and contribute to product development.
