Job summary
Edwards Vacuum is seeking a Sr Professional Staff leader to drive omni-channel technical support and guidance within the Global Support Organization for multiple products and technologies. You will mentor a regional team, escalate complex issues, and align with global strategy to maximize customer experience.
The role requires deep technical expertise, leadership experience, and a track record of improving support performance across diverse teams.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related technical discipline (or global equivalent) and 10+ years in Technical Support with 2+ years in a leadership role.
- Extensive analytical, troubleshooting and presentation skills required.
- Expertise in diagnostic techniques for electrical, mechanical and software systems.
- Operational analytics: identify trends and drive improvement projects.
- Certified in established troubleshooting methodologies (8D, Kepner-Tregoe, Six Sigma Black Belt).
Responsibilities
- Owns and is accountable for the overall performance of the regional tech support team, coaching at individual and team level to drive improvements.
- Acts as primary escalation point for technical support within the region and removes barriers for engineers to progress cases.
- Leads staff development, mentors team members, and aligns activities with global strategy for best practices.
