Job summary

Femtum in the United States seeks a results-driven sales engineer to identify new business opportunities, present high-value laser solutions to technical stakeholders, and lead customer demonstrations. The role requires collaboration with application engineers to craft strong technical proposals and showcases during trials.

You will train distributors, maintain CRM accuracy, and travel internationally (primarily Asia and the USA) to drive growth, while leveraging Mandarin as a major asset

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Photonics, Physics, or Engineering.
• 2–5 years of experience in technical sales or industrial customer support.
• Solid understanding of laser processes and semiconductor environments.
• Availability for monthly international travel (primarily Asia and the USA).
• Fluent in English and French; Mandarin language skills (major asset).

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities
• Present high-value technical solutions to technical stakeholders and decision makers
• Collaborate with application engineers to build strong technical proposals
• Lead product demonstrations and customer trials
• Maintain accurate account follow-up in CRM
• Participate in trade shows and conduct international client visits
• Contribute to market intelligence and continuous improvement of sales tools
• Train and support distributors and partners
• Act as the main customer interface during technical projects
