Job summary

Snowflake seeks a Sr. Technical Delivery Director to lead Technical Consulting Managers and Solutions Architect teams, delivering Snowflake Service Delivery offerings and accelerating customer success on their Snowflake journey.

You will develop strategies, oversee large engagements, and drive forecasts, with executive-level stakeholder interaction and a global delivery mindset. This role requires travel as needed and a strong background in SD delivery leadership.

Qualifications

BA/BS in computer science, engineering, mathematics or related fields.
15+ years of SD delivery experience, including leading large teams (25+) and managing with financial targets.
Experience building or partnering with a Global Delivery Center (GDC) to scale delivery.
Extensive knowledge of large-scale database technologies (Snowflake, Netezza, Exadata, Teradata, Greenplum).
Proven track record of building and leading highly technical teams.
Ability to identify process improvement areas and optimization.
Experience identifying risks that could impact timelines or deliverables.
Executive stakeholder presence; internal and external.
Experience managing cross-functional SD teams and working with delivery partners.
Ability to forecast and achieve delivery metrics (customer satisfaction, on-time delivery, utilization).
Ability to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

Hire, coach, and lead the Technical Delivery Team to meet customer goals with high performance culture.
Maintain technical skills and knowledge of Snowflake features.
Provide technical guidance and oversight for customer engagements as needed.
Build and execute a strategic business plan to meet regional objectives including revenue and consumption targets.
Create accurate financial forecasts for revenue, utilization, backlog, and hiring goals.
Lead teams through large complex engagements with executive and sponsor interaction.
Standardize delivery quality and efficiency across the team with process improvements.
Drive customer satisfaction and delivery quality via post-engagement surveys.
Collaborate with Sales, Leadership, Resource Management, and Partners to align on customer needs.
Staff engagements with Practice Directors and Resource Management.
Develop partner strategies to scale delivery and ensure consistent quality.
Identify new service offerings with GTM and support key sales pursuits.
Draft and review scope for Statements of Work and address gaps/risks.
Develop repeatable industry-based solutions for similar customers.
