Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking a Counsel to support global commercial and public sector contracts. You will draft and negotiate a broad range of agreements and provide pragmatic legal guidance to Sales and cross-functional teams.

Ideal candidates have 4+ years of relevant experience, a JD from an ABA-accredited school, U.S. citizenship, and experience with government contracts including FAR/DFARS. Applicants should be prepared to work in a fast-paced, globally-dispersed environment.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of legal practice in private or in-house roles, with tech/telecom clients or equivalent.
• JD from ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice.
• U.S. citizenship required for government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate sales and commercial contracts globally.
• Review teaming agreements, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and proposals for public sector deals.
• Advise cross-functional and Legal Department teams on commercial and government contract matters.
• Apply Akamai policies and contribute to Legal Department performance improvements.
