Akamai Technologies is seeking a highly qualified attorney to join the Global Legal team in the United States. You will draft, review, and negotiate sales contracts and other commercial documents with customers and partners, and support public sector sales with various agreements and proposals.
The role requires 4+ years of relevant legal experience, a JD from an ABA-accredited school, and U.S. citizenship. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS and strong English communication are essential.
Competenze
- 4+ years of experience practicing law in private practice or in-house
- JD from ABA-accredited law school and licensed to practice
- U.S. citizenship required for role
- Public sector contracting experience required
- Experience with FAR and agency supplements (DFARS)
- Strong written and oral English communication; capable of negotiations
- Experience with commercial law, IP, and privacy; support to Sales
- Active security clearance or eligibility is a plus
Mansioni
- Draft, review and negotiate sales contracts and other commercial documents
- Review teaming agreements, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and proposals for public sector sales
- Negotiate government contracts with federal, state, local and education customers
- Advise cross-functional teams on commercial and public sector contract matters
- Apply Akamai's legal and business policies consistently
- Contribute to improving the Legal Department's performance
