Job summary

Akamai Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced attorney to join the Global Legal team in the United States. You will draft, review and negotiate sales and public sector contracts, while advising internal stakeholders and ensuring alignment with Akamai policies and legal standards.

The role requires strong negotiation, written and oral communication skills, and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school with U.S. citizenship. Prior federal contract experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience practicing law in private practice or in-house
• JD from ABA-accredited law school and bar admission
• U.S. citizenship is required for this role
• Public sector contracting experience required
• FAR and DFARS knowledge including flow-downs to government contracts

Responsibilities

• Draft, review and negotiate sales contracts and other commercial documents
• Review teaming agreements, NDAs, subcontractor agreements, and proposals for public sector sales
• Negotiate public sector contracts with federal, state, local, and education customers
• Collaborate with cross-functional legal partners on contract matters
• Apply Akamai policies and help enhance the Legal Department's performance
