Job summary

Datadog is seeking an experienced Compensation professional to help shape our global compensation strategy. You will partner with the People team and cross-functional leaders to drive competitive offers, stock-based awards, and policy decisions in a high-growth SaaS environment.

You will analyze market data, maintain salary benchmarks, and influence leadership across Sales, Marketing, and GTM functions. Hybrid work model and comprehensive benefits are available.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of compensation work with expert-level understanding of compensation survey data and providers.
• Experience supporting technical solutions or general administration teams and aligning compensation strategies to drive performance.
• Experience in public or high-growth SaaS/tech companies, ideally supporting global teams including Technical Solutions organizations.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with global business recruiting team on offers in real time as a trusted advisor.
• Consult with HRBP, Recruiting, Managers and Leadership to drive compensation decisions and strategy for GTM functions (sales, marketing).
• Maintain a competitive and current job catalog for all teams using external data and benchmarking surveys.
• Provide updates on industry trends and best practices, especially stock compensation.
• Support data gathering, modeling, analytics, reporting, and insights for compensation initiatives.
• Identify when programs need improvements and propose changes.
