Job summary

Pike Enterprises is seeking a Senior Director of Tax to oversee tax compliance, planning and accounting for income taxes across Pike Enterprises LLC and related entities. This on-site role in Charlotte, NC partners with business units and external providers, reporting to the Chief Accounting Officer.

The position requires extensive experience in federal, international, and state tax, with leadership of a small team and oversight of ASC 740 provisions.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in accounting/finance with tax focus.
• 7+ years managing accountants and tax professionals.
• 7+ years working in $1B+ revenue, multi-unit businesses.
• 2+ years international tax experience.
• Bachelor's in Accounting required.
• Strong tax technical skills in federal, international, and state taxation (ASC 740).

Responsibilities

• Oversee federal, international, state and local income tax returns with external providers.
• Coordinate quarterly and annual ASC 740 tax provision.
• Lead sales/use tax compliance with operations teams.
• Oversee property tax function and unclaimed property compliance.
• Coordinate foreign country tax compliance and Pillar Two obligations.
• Develop intercompany, transfer pricing, and management fee arrangements.
• Oversee audits of tax returns and tax filings.
• Supervise a staff of two direct reports.
• Ensure robust internal controls around income tax accounting.
