Job summary

SPX Technologies in Charlotte, NC seeks a Senior Manager, International Tax to lead global tax planning and risk management. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to drive international tax strategy, ASC 740 reporting, and Pillar Two initiatives in a complex multinational public company.

The role offers high visibility, engagement with senior leadership, and opportunities to expand leadership responsibilities within SPX's tax organization.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive tax experience with a Big-4 or large public accounting firm serving multinational public companies or similar industry experience.
• CPA preferred.
• Experience with international tax planning, ASC 740 reporting, and cross-border structuring.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead global tax planning initiatives and cross-border structuring projects.
• Advise leadership on tax consequences of acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and entity restructurings.
• Collaborate with treasury, legal, and finance on cash repatriation and foreign tax credit optimization.
• Prepare and review components of the global tax provision and related disclosures.
• Review federal corporate income tax returns with emphasis on international taxation.
• Document tax positions for risk management and defensibility.
• Support business units with research and informational reporting requests.
