Job summary

SPX Technologies in Charlotte, NC, seeks a Senior Manager, International Tax to develop and execute our global tax strategy. You will partner with executive leadership and global teams to manage international planning, ASC 740 reporting, cross-border activities, and Pillar Two initiatives, influencing strategic decisions.

The role offers visibility across the organization and opportunities to advance to broader tax leadership, working in a fast-paced multinational public company environment.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.
• 7+ years of progressive tax experience with multinational exposure.
• Experience with ASC 740 calculations and disclosures.

Responsibilities

• Lead global tax planning initiatives and cross-border structuring projects.
• Advise leadership on tax implications of acquisitions, divestitures, financing, and restructurings.
• Partner with treasury and finance on cash repatriation and foreign tax credits optimization.
• Prepare and review components of global tax provision and returns.
• Document positions for risk management and defendability.
• Support business units with research and reporting requests.
• Manage special tax projects as needed.
