Job summary

Inspire Medical Systems seeks a Senior Director of Tax to lead our global tax function, driving compliance, planning, and governance in a growing public company.

The role requires deep experience with ASC 740, transfer pricing, and international tax, plus strong communication with executives and cross-functional teams. A CPA or Master’s in Taxation is preferred, with 12+ years in corporate taxation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance required.
• CPA or Master's in Taxation preferred.
• Significant experience in corporate tax, ASC 740, transfer pricing, and international tax.

Responsibilities

• Lead ASC 740 tax provision process, including quarterly and annual reporting.
• Oversee U.S. and international tax compliance and filing.
• Develop and execute tax planning strategies to optimize the company's tax position.
• Provide guidance on international expansion and transfer pricing.
• Lead transfer pricing and international tax matters, including intercompany transactions.
• Manage tax audits, controversies, and relations with authorities.
• Drive process improvements, automation, and tax technology initiatives.
• Mentor and develop the tax function and liaise with external advisors.
• Partner with Corporate Controller, CFO, and leaders on reporting and strategy.
