Job summary

The Intersect Group, Pasadena, CA, seeks a Senior Director of Tax to lead federal, state, and international tax strategy, planning, and compliance. Reporting to the CFO, you will shape tax policy, optimize the global structure, and drive risk management across a complex multi-state and international footprint.

Ideal candidate brings 15+ years of tax experience, CPA and advanced taxation credentials, and a proven ability to translate complex tax matters into actionable business guidance for

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive tax experience, including senior leadership
• CPA required with a Master’s in Taxation, JD, or LLM in Tax preferred
• Deep expertise in ASC 740, corporate tax Compliance, tax provisions and reporting
• Extensive international taxation experience, transfer pricing and cross-border structures
• Strong leadership, communication and ability to present complex tax matters to executives

Responsibilities

• Lead federal, state, local, and international tax planning, compliance and reporting
• Develop and execute tax strategies supporting growth and risk management
• Oversee transfer pricing policies and intercompany transactions
• Manage multi-state nexus, apportionment and indirect taxes
• Direct ASC 740 accounting and tax provisions/disclosures
• Lead audits and communications with tax authorities
• Mentor and develop a high-performing tax organization
