Job summary

Appian, a rapidly growing AI-powered process automation leader, seeks a seasoned Talent Acquisition leader to transform its global TA infrastructure. You will architect structured assessments, drive hiring quality, and modernize systems across engineering, sales, and corporate functions.

You will partner with the Global Head of TA to achieve strategic initiatives, implement SOPs, and deliver reliable execution while scaling systems to attract world-class talent in a competitive market.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher required.
• 12+ years of progressive product or operations leadership experience in enterprise environments, with at least 5 years in HR or Talent Acquisition.
• At least 2 years designing structured assessment platforms and candidate selection frameworks.
• Design and scale tailored workflows across regions and functions.
• Proven execution machine with end-to-end ownership.
• Proven ability to coach and develop talent in high-performing teams.
• Hands-on capability with workflow maps, system rules, data audits, and SOPs.
• Deep expertise in Greenhouse, SuccessFactors, or Workday and recruiting automation tools.
• Experience overseeing TA vendor ecosystems, audits, negotiations, and SLAs.
• Travel to HQ once a month.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement a structured assessment framework to standardize candidate evaluation.
• Partner with Global Head of TA to deliver strategic initiatives and reliable execution.
• Drive TA operational excellence through SOP development and data audits.
• Modernize the recruiting tech stack and design global TA reporting.
• Manage and develop a high-performing TA operations team.
