Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end supply chain operations, align strategies with business objectives, and manage procurement, sourcing, inventory, and supplier relationships. You will implement KPI-driven performance, drive SIOP, and ensure regulatory compliance across ITAR and related standards.

The role requires 10+ years of leadership in manufacturing supply chains, strong collaboration with Operations, Engineering, Quality and Finance, and a focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
• 5+ years leading supply chain organizations in manufacturing.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
• Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
• Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory control, and supplier management.
• Establish and monitor KPIs for supplier quality, delivery, inventory, and cost.
• Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and relationship management activities.
• Drive SIOP processes and inventory optimization efforts.
• Partner with Operations to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain personnel.
• Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, ISO, and other applicable requirements.
• Support audits and provide supply chain performance reporting.
