Job summary

Teledyne FLIR Defense is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to lead end-to-end operations across procurement, sourcing, inventory, and supplier development. You will manage risk, cost, and performance while collaborating with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Programs to align supply chain strategy with business needs.

The role requires a U.S. citizen, 10–20% travel, and proven leadership in manufacturing supply chains.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
10+ years of progressive supply chain leadership experience.
5+ years leading supply chain organizations in manufacturing.
Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning tools.
Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with company objectives.
Lead procurement, strategic sourcing, inventory control, supplier management.
Establish and monitor KPIs for supplier quality, delivery, and cost.
Lead supplier selection, qualification, negotiations, and relationships.
Drive SIOP processes and inventory optimization efforts.
Partner with Operations to support lean manufacturing and continuous improvement.
Identify and mitigate supply chain risks and disruptions.
Lead, mentor, and develop supply chain personnel.
Ensure compliance with ITAR, FAR, DFARS, ISO and other requirements.
Support audits and provide supply chain performance reporting.
