Job summary

SLB is seeking a Global Supplier Manager to drive strategic supplier relationships across the globe. The role focuses on achieving quality, on-time delivery, and cost improvements while aligning with the company’s sustainability goals.

You will develop and monitor supplier scorecards and lead cross-functional project teams to optimize performance. Based in Houston, this role requires extensive experience in procurement and supplier management, with strong negotiation and governance skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, engineering or related discipline.
• 8+ years of procurement, category management, supplier management, or strategic sourcing experience.
• Experience managing global supplier relationships in MRO, industrial distribution, marketplace, or indirect procurement.
• Strong negotiation, contract management and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience with SAP, Ariba, Power BI and procurement analytics tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the relationship with an assigned supplier or group of suppliers globally, aligned with the strategy.
• Set performance objectives and ensure delivery through supplier development plans.
• Define baseline and improvement targets; monitor progress via supplier scorecards.
• Lead cross-functional supplier development teams including Operations and Quality.
• Negotiate terms and ensure contracts are executed and value is delivered.
• Lead supplier risk assessments and monitor ESG-related commitments.
