Job summary

SLB New Energy & Industrial is seeking a Supply Planning Leader to guide a team of supply planners and optimize material readiness for on-time delivery. You will coordinate with Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, and Inventory to resolve constraints and drive performance metrics.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement of planning processes, planning data quality, and reporting, with accountability for risk escalation and adherence to supplier agreements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and equivalent minimum of four (4) years’ experience in a purchasing or sourcing role.
• Lean / Six Sigma experience.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Robust knowledge of ERP systems (e.g., SAP).

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop a team of Supply Planners for consistent planning execution and workload balance.
• Set priorities based on material requirements, business needs, supply constraints, and delivery commitments.
• Monitor team performance, planning effectiveness, and service levels; guide issue resolution and escalation decisions.
• Foster collaboration across Planning, Purchasing, Sourcing, Logistics, Operations, Engineering, and Inventory functions.
• Coordinate planning activities related to order creation, rescheduling, and inventory utilization to maintain material availability.
• Work with purchasing, sourcing, logistics, suppliers, and operations to resolve material constraints and minimize business impact.
