Job summary

SLB is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to evaluate, select, and monitor suppliers, ensuring quality compliance and continuous improvement across programs.

You will conduct audits, lead root-cause analysis, manage supplier risk, and collaborate with engineering and procurement to align specifications. A bachelor's degree and 3+ years' experience are required; travel and hybrid work are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field; mechanical background preferred.
• 3+ years in supplier quality or 5+ years in SLB/Direct Field Ops/Tech Center.
• Fluency in English; additional languages beneficial depending on supplier locations.
• ISO 9001 lead auditor, Six Sigma, or ASQ CQE preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and monitor suppliers to ensure quality compliance.
• Conduct audits and assessments and identify outsourcing activities.
• Lead or support corrective actions for quality issues and root cause analysis.
• Manage supplier risk metrics and report supplier performance.
• Collaborate with engineering and procurement to align quality specs.
