Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered.
• Experience leading procurement, sourcing, contracts, or commercial activities for complex projects, capital projects, construction, industrial services, engineered equipment, or operations support
• Strong understanding of supplier selection, bid evaluation, negotiation, purchase orders, contract terms, change orders, payment milestones, delivery tracking, and supplier performance management.
• Ability to review technical and commercial documents, identify risk, develop negotiation positions, and work effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end sourcing activities, including supplier identification, market analysis, RFIs/RFPs, tender clarifications, bid evaluations, negotiations, award recommendations, and contract support
• Develop procurement strategies for materials, equipment, services, construction, industrial services, and project work packages, aligned with business priorities, budgets, and delivery requirements
• Review scopes of work, technical requirements, commercial proposals, pricing structures, schedules, exclusions, assumptions, and contractual risks
• Evaluate supplier capability, cost, schedule, quality, HSE performance, commercial risk, execution approach, and overall value
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery commitments, warranties, change mechanisms, commercial exceptions, and other key terms with support from relevant stakeholders
• Manage supplier performance, delivery issues, change orders, claims, commercial escalations, and recovery plans when performance is off track
• Maintain accurate sourcing and contracting records, approvals, bid evaluations, negotiation summaries, commitments, and status updates in the required systems
• Provide clear procurement updates, risks, recommendations, decisions, and action plans to project and business stakeholders
• Support compliance with procurement standards, delegated authority, ethics, supplier due diligence, and applicable business processes
