Job summary

Schlumberger Limited in Sugar Land, TX, seeks a Sourcing Lead to manage global electronics parts sourcing, develop cost-saving plans, and build a high-performance supplier base across SLB centers.

You will lead a team of Sourcing Specialists, drive RFx processes, negotiate terms, and collaborate with Supply Chain Contract Specialists to meet quality, delivery and total cost of ownership targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of sourcing or procurement experience.
• Proven ability to lead sourcing initiatives and cross-functional teams.
• Strong analytical, negotiation and supplier-management skills.
• Experience with ERP sourcing modules (Ariba, SAP) and data-driven decision making.

Responsibilities

• Create sourcing plans that reduce cost, secure supply and minimize supply chain disruptions, aligned with Category strategies.
• Develop action plans, timelines and resource assignments for sourcing projects, including assignment to Global Sourcing Centers when appropriate.
• Lead RFx, supplier evaluations and bidding processes to maximize value and minimize risk.
• Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers to meet quality, delivery and cost objectives.
• Lead contracting with suppliers in coordination with Supply Chain Contract Specialists.
• Engage with SLB centers and stakeholders to implement sourcing plans and meet objectives.
