Job summary

Parker Electromechanical is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to strengthen the supplier base and ensure quality compliance across processes. You will lead supplier quality initiatives, perform audits, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve performance.

The role requires a engineering degree with hands-on quality tools knowledge, plus experience with ISO/IATF audits and PPAP. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 2–5 years related experience.
• Thorough knowledge of quality tools and APQP methods (FMEA, Control Plan, MSA, PPAP).
• Ability to read technical specifications/drawings and solve problems.
• Experience with ISO/IATF audits and 2–5 years audit experience.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain a supplier quality system for a defined supply base.
• Ensure compliance to Supplier Quality Manual, ISO 9001/IATF16949, and regional regs.
• Lead supplier development activities and implement changes as needed.
• Participate in supplier reviews and provide input to Purchasing on supplier quality.
• Audit suppliers per ISO 9001, IATF16949, and VDA6 standards.
• Ensure reliability and timely disposition of nonconforming material.
• Coordinate with suppliers on quality performance and drive corrective actions.
• Support customers with supply-based issues and drive Lean improvements.
