Schneider Electric is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer to lead quality operations across the supply base and drive improvements in material quality and process stability. You will own corrective actions, PPAP readiness, containment and rapid issue closure, partnering with plant teams to ensure supplier performance meets stringent standards.

The role requires 5+ years in supplier quality, a mechanical components background, and strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality or quality function.
• Manufacturing knowledge for mechanical components.
• Familiar with 8Ds, PPAP, QMS, and auditing.
• Strong communication and matrix-organization skills.

Responsabilités

• Own corrective action processes with suppliers, including 8D follow-up and root-cause validation.
• Ensure containment, correction and mitigation plans with timelines and accountability.
• Coordinate RMA processes and supplier returns to avoid delays.
• Manage supplier quarantined material and quick disposition.
• Perform PPAP approvals and documentation review.
• Track supplier quality issues and drive closure with urgency.
• Build strong relationships with plant teams for fast decisions.
• Continuously assess supplier performance and drive improvements.
