Job summary

Parker Electromechanical is seeking a Supplier Development Specialist to drive supplier performance improvements and support quality initiatives across the supply base. You will partner with suppliers and internal teams to enhance process capability, ensure contractual compliance, and lead continuous improvement efforts.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in supplier development or related fields, strong analytical skills, and experience with lean practices.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years in supplier development, quality, or procurement.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field.
• Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with supplier scorecards, corrective actions, and root-cause analysis.
• Proficient MS Office; experience with ERP and quality systems.
• Excellent communication and ability to influence stakeholders.
• Lean principles experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor supplier performance against contracts and KPIs.
• Lead supplier development to improve quality, delivery, and cost.
• Work with suppliers to develop corrective action plans.
• Coordinate supplier audits with cross-functional teams.
• Track and report supplier performance metrics.
• Support onboarding, qualification, and ongoing supplier reviews.
• Maintain documentation of performance, audits, and improvements.
