Job summary

Hitachi Energy in the United States (Raleigh, NC) is seeking a Procurement Senior Professional to lead strategic sourcing and procurement across multiple categories, supporting supply chain operations with sourcing strategy development, vendor management, contract negotiation, and procurement execution.

You will drive the full procurement lifecycle, partner with engineering, manufacturing, legal, and finance, monitor supplier performance, identify cost savings, and ensure compliance with

Qualifications

• Candidate must have work authorization to work in the United States.
• Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management within a large multinational organization.
• Experience leading complex procurement projects, managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and monitoring supplier performance.
• Proficiency in procurement software and SAP ERP systems, with knowledge of global supply chain operations, risk management, and ethical sourcing practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement sourcing plans and lead procurement activities across categories.
• Negotiate contracts, manage supplier relationships, and monitor performance against KPIs.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, legal, and finance to align procurement with business needs.
• Prepare reports on savings, procurement activity, and supplier performance.
