Job summary

Smartsheet is seeking an accomplished Event Manager to join our Global Strategic Events team. You will lead end-to-end planning and delivery of third-party events, coordinating with Product Marketing, Growth Marketing, Content, Design, and Sales to weave events into go-to-market plans.

You will manage logistics, budgets, and sponsorship fulfillment, travel up to 25–30% domestically and internationally, and drive lead capture and engagement to support pipeline growth.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in event marketing, field marketing, or event management with third-party conference/trade show ownership.
• Strong organizational skills with ability to manage multiple events and deadlines.
• Experience managing event budgets, vendors, and sponsorships.
• Ability to collaborate with Marketing, Sales, and Operations stakeholders.
• Familiarity with lead capture tools, CRM systems, and event platforms.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver a portfolio of third-party events with global standards.
• Own logistics for events: booth management, shipping, staffing, and post-show reconciliation.
• Partner with Marketing, Content, Design, Sales to align with campaigns.
• Drive lead capture, attendee engagement, and pipeline impact.
• Manage pre-event outreach, on-site engagement, and post-event follow-up.
• Oversee event budgets and processing invoices within approved spend.
• Develop scalable event processes and playbooks for consistency.
