Job summary

Penguin Solutions in Durham, NC seeks a Senior Program Manager to lead Global & Strategic Accounts PMO initiatives, delivering enterprise AI programs from design to deployment and managed services. You will own the voice of the customer, align cross-functional teams, and ensure high-quality delivery across complex engagements.

The role requires executive-level communication, 10+ years of program leadership, and the ability to navigate a global, matrixed organization with remote/hybrid

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience leading complex, customer-facing technology programs.
• Strong risk management and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills with strong executive presence.
• Ability to operate independently in a global, matrixed organization.
• Demonstrated success delivering enterprise programs across the full lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end delivery and execution of enterprise and sovereign AI programs, ensuring alignment across design, build, deployment, and operations.
• Develop and manage program plans, governance, and cross-functional coordination to deliver on scope, schedule, budget, and quality commitments.
• Serve as the primary program lead for strategic customers, translating requirements into executable plans and SOWs in partnership with cross-functional teams.
• Drive program performance by managing risks, protecting revenue and customer outcomes, and tracking KPI-driven results.
• Support growth by enabling scalable delivery and partnering with leadership on proposals and go-to-market efforts.
• Develop market insight across the AI ecosystem, including infrastructure, regulatory landscape, and sovereign data requirements.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration across global teams while serving as the Voice of the Customer to drive alignment and resolve escalations.
• Build and manage senior stakeholder relationships, including customer executives and government partners, to ensure program success.
• Execute within GSAT PMO standards, managing cross-program dependencies and portfolio coordination.
• Drive continuous improvement of PMO processes, frameworks, and best practices.
