Job summary

Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) seeks a Global Account Director to serve as the centralized commercial contact for strategic accounts, creating and implementing customer development plans to maximize revenue and strengthen win-win partnerships. The role reports to the Head of Strategic Account Program and collaborates with regional commercial leaders.

You will drive QBRs, pricing coordination, renewals, and KPI reporting while expanding relationships across aviation cargo and ground handling

Qualifications

• 10 years of air cargo, ground handling, airline, or logistics in a commercial or senior management role
• 6 years of proven sales, revenue management, or account management with revenue growth
• Strong track record of high revenue growth and customer stickiness through strategic initiatives
• Excellent relationships with key airline decision makers
• Experience navigating a matrix organization between functional and P&L leaders
• Clear communication and presentation skills with senior leaders
• Understanding of strategic sales processes and CRM usage
• Operational experience in cargo handling and customer issue resolution

Responsibilities

• Create and implement a multi-year Customer Development Plan for each strategic account with internal stakeholders and customers
• Maximize revenue opportunities and explore new streams for core products
• Conduct regular QBRs and report on SLAs/KPIs
• Coordinate with regional P&L and commercial teams to align account approach
• Develop commercial contacts across countries to extend the account team
• Communicate strategies across the organization and secure cross-functional support
• Maintain up-to-date pipeline and account management in CRM systems
• Coordinate pricing requests and tender responses with regions and tender teams
• Act as escalation point for major issues from assigned customer group and drive timely resolutions
• Ensure the contracts database is current and drive renewals with win/win outcomes
• Support annual target setting for strategic accounts with regional teams
