Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Phoenix seeks a Business Development Manager, Account Director to drive growth in Air & Sea forwarding solutions. You will manage an active book of business, lead strategic RFQs/RFPs, and expand executive-level client relationships across international freight forwarding.

The role requires a hunter mindset, strong local market knowledge, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams while delivering multi-modal value propositions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of successful sales experience in international freight forwarding.
• Current management of at least $1.5M+ in revenue or $250K+ in GP with documented growth.
• Experience selling complex Air & Sea forwarding solutions internationally.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in English and Spanish.
• Strong hunter mentality with ability to generate pipeline quickly.
• Ability to lead RFQs/RFPs and coordinate cross-functional input.
• Strong local market knowledge and executive relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue, GP, and growth targets.
• Generate immediate qualified pipeline through hunting, prospecting, and executive outreach.
• Lead RFQs/RFPs and sell multi-modal forwarding solutions across air, ocean, and customs.
• Establish and expand executive-level relationships with clients.
• Collaborate with operations, pricing, product, and trade lane teams to meet requirements.
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service solutions.
• Manage the sales pipeline and update CRM with accurate information.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
