Job summary

First Solar, Inc. in Ohio is seeking a Supply Chain Planner to manage day-to-day end-to-end planning for spare and IDM materials. You will partner with manufacturing operations to optimize stock, ensure production uptime, and drive efficiency across global sites.

The role requires a Bachelor's or related Associate degree with supply chain experience, familiarity with MRP and SAP, and strong analytical and cross-functional collaboration skills. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or business-related field or Associate with 2+ years in supply chain.
• APICS/ISM Certification preferred.
• Minimum 1 year relevant experience in supply chain.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with MRP concepts and SAP or other ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure PFEP plan aligned with the planning strategy and execute to plan.
• Analyze and adjust planned orders based on inventory levels and inputs from cross-functional teams.
• Monitor supply capacity vs global demand and alert teams when more capacity is needed.
• Balance supply across sites during constrained situations.
• Ensure reliable supplier forecast data for cross-functional teams.
• Manage transitions and minimize obsolescence of new materials.
• Maintain system master data for assigned materials and monitor inventory changes.
• Support requests from other departments and promote cross-functional teamwork.
