Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks a Material Planner to support planning and material control for the U.S. Cell Manufacturing unit in Indiana. You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure materials meet production needs and targets in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements include a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 1–3 years in supply chain or material planning, strong communication skills, and English proficiency. Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years in supply chain, production or material planning in a multinational manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver strong quantitative results.
• Able to perform in a fast-moving environment.
• ERP platforms or SAP familiarity preferred.
• Excellent written and spoken communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with headquarters to review and adjust production targets.
• Assess inventory levels and delivery timelines to support targets.
• Monitor material shortages and develop contingency plans.
• Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Logistics, Supply Chain and Quality.
• Maintain MRP data and investigate anomalies for accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve planning processes.
• Work with cross-functional teams to align supply chain with business goals.
• Utilize SAP systems for daily operations and control.
