Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, Business Administration, Supply Chain or Life Science.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret large datasets.
• Excellent written and oral communication, including presenting to senior leadership.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute material plans to support instrument manufacturing, service, repair, and refurbishment operations.
• Monitor material availability and proactively communicate shortages or surplus to prevent supply disruptions.
• Manage inventory levels to balance customer service, operational readiness, and inventory investment.
• Review and recommend updates to planning parameters, lead times, and master data.
• Analyze demand and supply changes, communicate risks and mitigation plans.
• Partner with Procurement to resolve delivery issues and improve material availability.
• Support product lifecycle transitions from a material readiness perspective.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Service, Quality, Logistics, and Supply Planning.
• Drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions for inventory imbalances.
• Identify and implement process improvements that enhance planning efficiency, inventory performance, and service levels.
