Job summary

Nextpower Inc in Fremont, CA is seeking a Global Supply Planner to lead supplier allocation planning, secure supply continuity, and drive supplier performance for large-scale solar projects.

This role partners with Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics to align demand forecasts with sourcing strategies, manage risk, and improve end-to-end visibility from PO to delivery. Periodic travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5+ years in supply planning or related leadership role.
• Master’s degree preferred for advanced roles with 3+ years experience.
• Strong analytical skills and proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and planning tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier allocation planning based on demand forecasts, capacity, and contracts.
• Identify supply risks early and develop mitigation and recovery plans.
• Drive supplier performance reviews and improve planning accuracy across regions.
• Maintain end-to-end visibility from PO to delivery and support cross-functional alignment.
• Collaborate with Sourcing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Logistics on capacity planning and launches.
