Job summary

Nextpower in Fremont, CA seeks a Sr. Global Supply Planner to own supplier allocation, continuity, and performance across key suppliers and product families for large-scale solar projects.

The role collaborates with Sourcing, Engineering, Regional Delivery, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Project Operations to ensure end-to-end visibility from PO to delivery. The ideal candidate has 8+ years in supply planning with ERP/MRP experience (Oracle), and proficiency in Anaplan, Excel, and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of related experience in supply planning, master scheduling, manufacturing, supplier management, or supply chain leadership.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as Oracle, Anaplan, and analytical tools such as Excel and Power BI.
• APICS certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel periodically and work across regions, cultures, and time zones.

Responsibilities

• Own complex supply allocation and continuity – lead allocation planning and secure supply commitments based on demand, capacity, pricing, and project priorities.
• Drive supplier performance and accountability – improve OTS performance, establish accountability, and lead cross-functional reviews and corrective actions.
• Resolve complex supply risk and protect project execution – identify gaps, evaluate tradeoffs, and execute mitigation and recovery plans.
• Advance planning systems, visibility, and scalable practices – use MRP, Anaplan, Oracle, Excel, and Power BI to improve planning accuracy and end-to-end visibility.
• Cross-functional leadership & influence – partner with Engineering, Sourcing, Manufacturing, Logistics, Regional Delivery, and Project Operations.
