New Relic is seeking a seasoned technology leader to grow our global engineering team and advance the next generation of Application Performance Monitoring. You will guide the agent teams, drive reliability, and ensure scalable, data-driven decisions in a fast-growing, distributed environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in Software Engineering.
• 4+ years of experience leading people and teams.
• Backend experience with Java and Node.js.
• Strong data analysis experience.
• Experience managing on-call rotations and 24/7 operations.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on data analysis and technical problem solving.
• Leverage OpenTelemetry to acquire data.
• Design and build APM agents for customer environments.
• Build scalable processes for reliability and growth.
• Coordinate across teams to execute large-scale engineering plans.
