Job summary

Wärtsilä is seeking a Site Resource Manager, Network USA in the US to lead a team of site professionals, coordinate staffing, and ensure successful delivery of power projects. The role focuses on resource planning, onboarding, governance, and collaboration with delivery teams.

You will drive competency development, recruitment activities, and uphold safety standards while working in a global, multi-site environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of experience in construction, commissioning, project execution, field services, power generation, energy, industrial, or related industries.
3+ years of people leadership experience, including team management, coaching, and performance development.
Experience in workforce planning, resource management, and capacity allocation.
Strong understanding of construction and commissioning activities within power generation, EPC, industrial, or energy projects.
Experience supporting global or multi-site project organizations is considered an advantage.
Experience with recruiting, talent development, and succession planning.

Responsibilities

Develop Wärtsilä’s construction and commissioning services resource hub in the US.
Leading a team of construction and commissioning professionals.
Managing workforce planning, resource allocation, and utilization to support project delivery objectives.
Performing line management responsibilities, including coaching, performance management, and employee development.
Supporting onboarding, site mobilization, and assignment planning for team members.
Coordinating travel, work authorization, visa, and compliance requirements for international assignments.
Collaborating with project management and delivery teams to ensure project staffing needs are met.
Driving technical competency development and succession planning within the team.
Supporting recruitment activities and workforce growth initiatives.
Promoting a strong safety culture and ensuring compliance with Wärtsilä QEHS standards.
Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and operational excellence across the organization.
Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
