Job summary

WCG is seeking a Site Network Business Development Director to identify, develop, and expand sponsor and CRO relationships to increase clinical trial opportunities for WCG Site Network investigative sites.

The role targets preferred relationships, expands access to studies within client accounts, and represents WCG Site Network at industry events and trade shows. Bachelor's degree or commensurate industry experience is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years sales experience managing business development and selling solutions.
• Proven ability to independently source, develop, and close net new business.
• Executive level client penetration and development experience is essential.
• Experience in a matrixed team-selling environment with SMEs.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the business development lead for WCG Site Network by prospecting, qualifying, and selling Site Network services through a consultative approach.
• Solely responsible for managing all global pharmaceutical and CRO client relationships for WCG Site Network.
• Target and close trial opportunities aligning with Site Network capabilities to optimize revenue.
• Coordinate with leaders and SMEs to create compelling solutions for clients and prospects.
• Develop account strategies and prepare client presentations to company standards.
• Identify and maintain strategic relationships with sponsors and CROs remotely or in person.
• Harvest opportunities within existing accounts and expand the client base.
• Travel 10 to 20% for meetings and events to drive sales.
• Provide market feedback and contribute to product development ideas.
