Job summary

Onto Innovation is seeking a senior leader to drive global Service Operations, aligning strategy with customer priorities and delivering scalable execution across regions. You will define operating models, forecast service capacity, and lead cross-functional teams to improve performance and customer experience.

The role requires extensive leadership, financial acumen, and the ability to manage complex service operations with strong KPIs and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or related field.
• Significant progressive leadership experience in service operations, field service, operations, engineering, or related function within semiconductor equipment or related industry.
• Demonstrated experience leading managers and large, geographically distributed technical/service organizations.
• Proven ability to manage complex service operations using operational KPIs and financial KPIs.
• Experience with workforce and capacity planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
• Proven ability to lead large-scale operational improvement or business transformation initiatives.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the Service Operations strategy aligned with company, business, and customer priorities.
• Establish operating model, processes, governance, and performance expectations for scalable service execution.
• Translate forecasts, installed-base growth, product roadmaps, and customer requirements into service capacity plans.
• Anticipate operational risks and establish plans for readiness.
• Drive alignment across service organizations, regions, and cross-functional partners.
• Define and monitor key service performance indicators and ensure data quality.
