Job summary

Celestica in Richardson, TX is seeking a strategic Sr Manager, DFM and SMT Engineering to own manufacturability screening within the design ecosystem. You will lead a high-performing global team across Richardson, Shanghai, and Penang to resolve complex fabrication challenges early in design.

Responsibilities include owning DFM rule sets, coordinating pre-DFM screening, governing findings, encoding rules into Valor, and aligning with site teams to ensure design packages pass with minimal rework.

Qualifications

• 11 to 14 years of relevant experience in engineering leadership.
• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading multi-site global DFM/process engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Own DFM rule set content and change proposals.
• Plan pre-DFM screening across package portfolios with SLAs.
• Chair DFM reviews and define evidence for findings.
• Encode DFM rules into Valor and integrate into design environments.
• Mentor and grow engineering teams across Richardson, Shanghai, and Penang.
