Job summary

Celestica seeks a Senior Manager to lead DFA and Mechanical Engineering, owning design-for-assembly rules for tray and rack systems. You will guide a multi-national team, drive cross- functional collaboration with Mechanical and Industrial Design, and ensure designs meet assembly and serviceability targets for high-rate production and field serviceability.

The role emphasizes strategic DFA ownership, continuous improvement, and strong leadership across sites in Richardson, Shanghai, and Penang,

Qualifications

8-11 years in a senior engineering leadership role.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Proven leadership experience managing global mechanical engineering or DFx teams.
Deep technical expertise in DFA/DFM/Serviceability.
Strong background in mechanical integrations, including rack and tray architectures, thermal management, and cold plate assemblies.

Responsibilities

Own DFA rule sets and define design-for-assembly standards.
Model assembly sequences and pre-DFA assessments during design phase.
Collaborate with Mechanical and Industrial Design teams to resolve DFA findings.
Drive optimization of cycle times and reduce operator-induced defects.
Lead and develop a global team across Richardson, Shanghai, and Penang.
