Job summary

ViiV Healthcare, a global HIV-focused company, seeks a Senior Director, Early Development Leader to drive early development strategies from candidate selection to Proof of Concept across multiple sites in the US and internationally. The role demands leadership in a matrix environment and deep expertise in HIV drug development.

You will manage global cross-functional teams, interface with senior stakeholders, and shape development plans within a fast-paced, mission-driven culture.

Qualifications

• MSc and 10+ years of drug development experience.
• Experience in establishing and executing a drug development strategy.
• Experience in presenting scientific data to internal and external audiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead the multi-functional global Early Development Team (EDT) delivering assets to Phase 2b.
• Direct medicine development strategy from candidate selection through POC and further development.
• Contribute to regional/global strategy for products and interface with senior management and external stakeholders.
