ViiV Healthcare in the United States is seeking a Senior Director, Early Development Leader to drive a global, multi-disciplinary team from candidate selection through Phase 2b. The role shapes strategy, budgets, and cross-functional alignment within R&D.

The position offers relocation to suitable US locations and leadership across multiple sites, including Cambridge, MA. Strong strategic and communication skills are required for success in a matrix environment.

Formación

• MSc & 10+ years of drug development experience.
• Experience in establishing and executing a drug development strategy.
• Experience in presenting scientific data to internal key stakeholders and external audiences.

Responsabilidades

• Leads the multi-functional global Early Development Team (EDT) responsible for delivery of an asset to Phase 2b.
• Directs medicine development strategy and plans for products from Candidate Selection through Proof of Concept/Commit to Medicine Development.
• Contributes to the development of regional and global strategy for products.
• Interfacing with Senior Management, internal stakeholders and external stakeholders to articulate and drive the Medicine Development Strategy.
• Interfaces with other functions during the development program such as Commercial to ensure alignment on strategy and timelines.
• Manages prioritisation of asset development options within budget.
• Creates and maintains a clear medicine development strategy and integrated asset development plan.
