Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Global Commodity Manager to drive semiconductor sourcing strategies, build cross-functional alignment with hardware engineering, and manage supplier relationships across the supply base. The role emphasizes risk management, cost control, and early supplier involvement to accelerate time-to-market for advanced AI hardware projects.

We expect 8+ years in global commodity management, deep power semiconductor knowledge, and strong negotiation and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• BS in EE, Business, or Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years in global commodity management for semiconductors.
• Strong understanding of AI hardware architecture and how components work together.
• Deep knowledge of Power Semiconductor tech, market, and supply landscape.
• Excellent negotiation and leadership in supplier management.
• Strong analytical skills: cost modeling and supplier analysis.

Responsibilities

• Build cross-functional alignment with hardware engineering to identify commodity sourcing strategies.
• Develop and manage supplier relationships and conduct business reviews to improve performance.
• Negotiate MSAs, cost reduction strategies, and maintain lead-time and cost systems.
• Ensure component supply assurance and inventory flexibility programs.
• Deliver supplier risk management systems and BOM risk reduction strategies.
• Resolve impediments to production readiness and support production execution.
• Enable early supplier involvement to drive innovation for SOL project schedules.
• Lead supplier selection and RFQ processes in partnership with Engineering.
