Job summary

SMBC Group is seeking an experienced functional product owner for SAP SuccessFactors LMS to lead platform strategy, governance, and operations in support of regulatory requirements and employee development initiatives.

You will oversee system enhancements, releases, reporting, integrations, data governance, and user experience while ensuring operational excellence and risk mitigation, partnering with HR, Compliance, Risk, Technology, vendors, and business leaders for scalable solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience supporting a cloud-based learning platform such as SAP SuccessFactors Learning, Cornerstone, Workday Learning, or a comparable enterprise
• Experience serving as a functional system owner, product owner, lead administrator, or technology specialist for enterprise learning solutions.
• Experience leading HR technology initiatives in complex, matrixed environments while influencing stakeholders and driving business outcomes.
• Experience providing work direction, mentoring, coaching, or leadership to HRIS, HR technology, or systems professionals.
• Strong understanding of system configuration, release management, testing, reporting, integrations, production support, and vendor relationship management.
• Knowledge of data integrity, compliance reporting, audit readiness, operational risk management, regulatory requirements, and related controls.
• Experience developing and using dashboards, reporting solutions, and analytics to monitor system performance, compliance metrics, adoption trends, service levels, and key risk indicators.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project coordination, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy, accountability, and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Own the SAP SF LMS roadmap, backlog, and framework for LMS, ensuring alignment with priorities, regulatory requirements, and enterprise tech strategy.
• Serve as a trusted advisor on learning technology strategy, platform capabilities, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
• Contribute to a global project as SAP LMS subject matter expert, engaging global stakeholders to provide guidance and support delivery.
• Build strong partnerships with senior leaders, HR stakeholders, Compliance, Risk, Audit, Technology teams, and external vendors to drive outcomes.
• Influence decisions across matrixed teams while balancing priorities and accountability.
• Lead planning and execution of enhancements, releases, integrations, and process improvements with focus on stability and risk.
• Oversee platform administration, security, reporting, data governance, and issue resolution for reliable service delivery.
• Drive automation and data quality improvements to enhance user experience and reduce operational risk.
• Establish testing standards, change-control, and audit-ready controls to support governance.
