Job summary

Cat Pumps is seeking an experienced International Sales Manager to drive profitable growth across assigned international markets not covered by CPUK, CPD, or CPINV. You will lead commercial strategy, technical solution selling, and distributor development, while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, and Customer Service to strengthen our global market presence.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on sales leader with strong relationship skills, a deep understanding of engineered pumping

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, International Business, or related field; equivalent experience may be considered.
• At least 8 years of international sales, technical sales, or related commercial experience.
• Track record of profitable sales growth and closing complex opportunities.
• Experience selling engineered/industrial products and translating requirements into solutions.
• Experience developing distributors, channel partners, OEMs, or strategic accounts internationally.
• Ability to lead across functions, cultures, and geographies.
• Strong business acumen, negotiation, planning, organization, and problem-solving.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and CRM/reporting tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Own sales performance, revenue growth, and profitability for assigned international markets.
• Develop regional sales plans with target markets, channels, and growth priorities.
• Identify and convert new business opportunities with distributors, OEMs, and end users.
• Manage pipeline, forecasts, and visibility into activities and risks.
• Lead negotiations, pricing discussions, quotations, and closing activities to protect margin.
• Collaborate with internal teams to strengthen market position and execution.
