Qualifications

• BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field.
• FIA or FCAS preferred.
• 5+ years’ experience in commercial lines.
• Experience of reviewing and managing reserving processes.
• Experience of setting reserves.
• Demonstrated ability to improve processes.
• Ability to work collaboratively across stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent project management skills.
• Effective time management and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day work of the team and ensure timely and accurate delivery of reserve results.
• Maintain consistency in reserving approach across products and global standards.
• Collaborate with North America and International reserving management to develop processes.
• Review and report reserves to senior leadership.
• Consolidate reserving results into key MI and present to leaders.
• Support global reserving lead in managing reserve review schedules.
• Ensure controls for reserving processes and act as point person for audits.
• Develop or improve processes for presenting reserving information.

Education

BS in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field

FIA or FCAS preferred

5+ years’ experience in commercial lines

Experience of reviewing and managing reserving processes

Experience of setting reserves

Demonstrated ability to improve processes

Ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders
